PUENTES programs attempt to decrease barriers that prevent folx from engaging with the natural world while creating a space for joy, growth, and exploration.
Through our yearly PUENTES Nature Cohort and partner programs, such as with Summer Search, we create opportunities to have fun, learn new skills, self-reflect, build community, and heal, while maintaining a welcoming space for processing positionality, power, and privilege in the outdoors. We value transparency, increasing access to outdoor recreation, and collective community joy in nature.

Web Of Life Field School
Building respect, appreciation, and stewardship within the web of life.
WOLF School works with schools and organizations to connect youth with nature, empower individuals, and strengthen communities. Since 1989, they have been fortunate to introduce thousands of California’s students to the wonders of the outdoors and their larger roles within the web of life.
Trail Maps
The following maps were hand-drawn based on GPS tracks of the various trails at WOLF School program sites. They highlight the local ecosystem and community in each location and were specifically designed to be printed on square bandanas.
